Hello families,
Today we:
-Learned a new Lively Letter - the noisy tongue dancing sound 'd'. Please brainstorm words that begin with this sound with your child.
-Learned the poem "Pat the Cat" and looked for our words of the week in the poem.
-Went on our fall walk! Students noticed many different signs of fall. Please ask your child to tell you about their walk.
-We did a guided drawing for how to draw a dog (Chase from Paw Patrol). Ask your child if they remember how to draw it for you at home.
Reminders:
-Our Terry Fox run is tomorrow! It is the last day that our school is accepting donations for the Terry Fox Foundation.
-Please sign up to attend our "Welcome to the New Year: Whole Class Virtual Presentation". The details are in Mrs. Brinson's Northern Lights News email.
-There is no school this Friday, September 24.
