Hello families,
Today we had to read to partner and read to self. We wrote about the lamb and chick guided drawing we drew and labelled last week. We also had our daily literacy centers.
We had music today and we did the Sleepy Bunny song. After Music, we had gym and we played a freeze dance game with the new gymnastics poses we learned.
In Math we used dice to add two of them together to practice addition.
Reminders:
- Important note: Starting this week, students will no longer need to let a teacher know when they see their parents to be dismissed at the end of the day. Teachers will be outside to supervise and watch for students who may not be picked up on time. This is good practice and preparation for grade two. It is advisable when picking up your child to wait in the same location each day so it is easy for your child to find you.
- Please send hats, mitts and warm clothes for your child the next few days as it will be cold out.
- Please send extra pants and socks for your child with the wet weather happening the next few days
