 Hello families,

Today we did Literacy Centers and Read to self.

Mrs. Brinson came and talked to us about when we should call 911 and who we should tell if there is an emergency.  We learned it is the teachers job to call 911 and not a students.

In Gym, we played stinky armpit tag and wax museum.

We looked at and read the instructions for all of the games Ms. Honig brought for the next few days.

We shared about our cultures today.

Tomorrow, we will start building bottle rockets for the contest on Thursday.  IF your child would like to bring a 591ml bottle to use, that is fine. It must be the small mouth bottles.  We have the 2L ones in the classroom to use for students to work in pairs.

Reminders:

Plants will be sent home tomorrow June 21, we will package them the best we can for those that take the bus or go to daycare.

Tuesday June 21: National Indigenous Peoples Day - some events will take place outside so please have your child dress for the weather tomorrow

Tuesday June 21: wear Northern Lights spirit wear or an Orange Shirt too

Friday June 24: Sports Day, wear beach themed clothes.

Students should come to school dressed for changing weather, as well as with a water bottle, a hat, and two brain food snacks)

If you have a child with a sibling that is going into kindergarten, please make sure you have registered them
