Hello families,
Today we listened to a story called Napi and the Wolves and watched a puppet show about it by the Calgary Public Library. Then we did read to self and read to partner.
After snack, we did our centers and then finished colouring our Minion from yesterday.
After lunch, we had Gym and then we learned about Rockets with Mr. Scout and a student in grade 4. We tested out different balloons in making the rockets race across the foyer area.
We played bingo in math and then read a story.
Culture week information gathering sheets went home today, please fill the out and retuen them as soon as you can.

Wednesday June 15 - SPIRIT DAY: Career Day (Dress up as what you want to be when you grow up)
Wednesday June 15 - Popcorn Day for those who ordered
Thursday June 16 - Please send back the Culture Week survey
Friday June 17 - Grade 1 Immunizations for students whose parents requested them
Please send students with appropriate clothing for school each day. With it being rainy, we still go outside for recesses. Rain jackets and rain boots if you have them would be appreciated. A change of clothes for students especially pants and socks is recommended.
Lastly: If you will NOT be at Northern Lights School, and you HAVE NOT yet told us, please send us an email. Our planning for next year continues and having the most accurate number of students is essential.
